Six short comic stories spanning twenty-six pages -- tales from March 2020. Centered in and around San Francisco and the Pandemic Trump years, Maloney captures the small moments of regular life lived with quiet resilience in an increasingly hostile world. I can easily imagine being stuck in a small conservative town somewhere and reading these as I planned my escape to a bigger city.
