- Close-up of cross-beds crowded with pea-sized pumice in road cut exposure of fluviatile facies of Glenns Ferry formation (late Pliocene), at cut of US 30, NESW sec. 31, T.5 S., R.9 E. about 1.5 miles east of Hammett. The larger grains are pumice. Elmore County, Idaho. September 11, 1960.
